I’m thinking about quitting smoking. I know I want to quit within the next 2 years. The only thing is that I really enjoy smoking. I smoke roughly 15 a day. I would like to know how to quit without using the patch or gum. I can’t quit all at once but would like to ease into it by smoking less and less. So what I really need to know also is…

ive quit smoking im on my 5th day! but i feel realy ill just feel like crap. i feel like i wann throw up!! lost my appetite, carnt consentrate got no energy atall. just wounderd if this could be withdrawal symtoms from not smoking? and im useing nicotine patch , gum , and nasal spray! thanks !

I’ve been smoking since I was 12 now I’m a lot older than 12 actually closer to 40 yrs old.I want to stop way back in my early 20′s I tried the gum but that made me sick. Has anyone here stopped smoking and how did you do it? I smoke mainly when its late at night like now and during the day when I’m stressed but I want to quit, just not sure how to do it. How do the patches work? If anyone’s had any luck, please tell me the brand and symptoms from them like were you tired, jittery, sick? I know I can’t just put them down. I’ve thought about quitting but now its time and I’m tired of smoking, but addicted.

I’m planning to quit smoking by my birthday which is a couple of days away only. Is it true that i will gain weight? and what’s better, to gradually minimize the cigarettes i smoke daily or to just quit? Do the nicotine gums help? any other tips? (I smoke 10 cigarettes a day and i’ve been smoking for 2.5 years now)
